Angela Carley, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, is the founder and integrative health provider at Luminary Integrative Health, a direct primary care practice in St. Petersburg, Florida, serving patients ages 13 and older across primary care, hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, sexual wellness, and functional medicine.
Angela's path to healthcare spans more than two decades and reflects a career shaped by genuine commitment to her patients. She began as a certified nursing assistant and earned her nursing degree before joining the ICU/CCU, where she also worked alongside the cardiac catheterization laboratory, emergency department, and rapid response team. She later transitioned into Medicare skilled home health, where she served as a case manager, clinical manager, and ultimately director — developing a deep understanding of how complex care coordination, when done well, changes lives.
Driven to expand her capacity to care for patients more comprehensively, Angela earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and became board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is an inductee of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing, and maintains active membership in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has been practicing in primary care since 2021, with additional training in regenerative and root-cause medicine.
The founding of Luminary Integrative Health reflects Angela's belief that patients deserve more than the healthcare system has traditionally offered — more time, more access, and a provider who truly knows them. The direct primary care model eliminates the barriers of insurance billing and rushed appointments, making room for the kind of relationship-centered care that leads to meaningful, lasting outcomes.
